April Inspirations

We're already into April, and no foolin', the Dream Team has a spectacular month planned for you...filled with exciting news and inspiration for all of your crafting dreams! The exciting news will be announced in the Dream It Up! post on April 17th, but the "April Inspirations" challenge will run for the entire month. Each team member will post what inspires them in their creative life...maybe a Pinterest pic, a magazine pic, a quote, a book, a place, an artist, a crafter friend...along with their creation. We are hoping that you will feel inspired as well, and link your projects (and inspiration) to the inlinkz tool on the Dream It Up! blog. Check out what our Guest Designer and the "A" team has been inspired by for this week...

March Madness Week 4

We're STILL MAD I tell you! We've all gone MAD! That is...MAD for Dreamweaver Stencils! Lol. Welcome back to our "March Madness" challenge! Anything goes, and the more outside-of-the-box, the better. This year, we're aiming to play with non-traditional challenges whenever possible. So, break out all of your I-never-quite-knew-what-to-do-with-these-products stash, look at your Dreamweaver stencils in a whole new creative light, and get crafting! Oh, and don't forget to link those creations to the linkytool on the Dream It Up! blog for one of THREE chances to win the stencil of your choice!

My madness this week starts with LX7024 Zen Flower

Pick 5 papers; 2 print and 3 solids.  Flip paper.  Trace stencil onto back of papers.  Each paper should be one row smaller each time. Cut out

Layer with foam tape and set jewels in the center.  Tah-dah.....a quick piece of art.

Here is my madness for this week:

Since I live in the Wyoming wilderness, I decided to do something that would be from the area.

So I started with :

LG714 Elk

LG715 Moose

andLL584 Bison

Next cut 4 4x4 squares of white paper. Sponge color over the whole area.
Place stencil over square and stencil color onto it.
Place paper face down on a piece of laminate paper.  Cut leaving a 12 inch border.  Cut corners in a V.  Apply double stick tape to back of image.
Cut 4 4x4 squares of cork.  Set image, adhesive side down onto cork.  Fold laminate edges over and TAH DAH!!!  You have a set of coasters.

Make sure to check out the rest of the team for more "MAD" ideas:

February Flutters - week 4

Are you ready for more of the Dreamweaver challenge for February? It will be a short month of posts for the Dream Team, but we're pretty excited to share with you our versions of "February Flutters", meaning anything that flutters. Heart flutters, wings that flutter, breezes, sails, etc. So, come along for the ride and link your own "flutterings" to the Dream It Up! blog for a chance to win the stencil of your choice. Meanwhile, here's my "fluttering" for the week:

This week I used two stencils to create what makes my heart flutter.

First LG747 Ruffled Heart

Second LS1011 Merci

Paste with Red Glossy Paste, let dry.  Place Merci over the red heart and paste with White Glossy Paste

Matt onto metallic paper and you'll make someone else's heart flutter!

Quick and easy!!
Thanks for stopping by..........

Be sure to leave me some encouragement before flitting over to the "B" team blogs:
